LOOP DARLING ♡ / HELP CENTER / COMPANION AND PREFERENCES

Loopi, Settings & Appearance

Loopi is your small pixel-art crafting companion. Her job is to keep you company, not pressure you to craft or pretend she knows what your hands are doing.

What Loopi says

Loopi offers short greetings, gentle row-completion celebrations, timer remarks and optional idle chatter. Her messages run locally; they don’t require a cloud model or the marketplace.

You can adjust spontaneous chatter in Settings. Row reminders and Stockinette Mode are separate per-project choices, rather than a universal promise of a particular next stitch.

Daylight, Moonlight and Follow Device in the app

Settings → Appearance contains Follow Device, Daylight and Moonlight. Follow Device matches the phone’s system appearance, while Daylight uses cream/espresso and Moonlight uses darker plum/ivory colors.

The Android appearance setting persists with local preferences; it does not change saved rows, imported PDFs or timers. This feature is implemented in source and still needs full device-by-device visual verification. Website appearance is separate: Daylight is its default, and the header’s Daylight / Moonlight / Auto links change the current web page without storing a preference across pages.

Other app preferences

Settings includes crafting preferences, local layout choices, plans/features, privacy/data information and About. Large pattern text and keeping the screen awake help when reading during a crafting session.

My Projects and the imported Pattern Library each have their own independent grid/list layout preference. Changing one does not need to change the other.

Loopi’s future wardrobe

Additional outfits, chairs and collectible cosmetic rewards are planned. A working paid wardrobe, purchases or a fully customizable character system has not launched.

Accessibility notes

The app accounts for safe areas, scrollable instructions, enlarged pattern text and a quieter Focus Mode. Mobile screen-reader, contrast, large-font and reduced-motion testing still needs real-device verification.
