Craft Proof Reviewed, Maker Tested and Founding Pattern: what’s different?

Each label describes a different kind of review: finished-project evidence, documented pattern testing, or a qualifying older pattern.

Craft Proof Reviewed

This means staff reviewed a Designer’s submitted Craft Proof evidence, including real finished-project photographs, a physical QR-card photo, rights declaration and relevant AI-use disclosure.

It does not certify copyright ownership, guarantee that the pattern has no errors or prove that every size and variation was physically made.

Maker Tested

This is a separate label for documented Maker testing. It should not be assumed from a Craft Proof photo alone. A finished sample demonstrates that an item exists; testing the written directions is a different check.

Look for the specific label rather than treating all reviewed patterns as independently tested.

Founding Pattern ♡

For invited Founding Patterns, staff may review an existing, physically completed pattern without requiring a new printed QR-card photograph. Those submissions still require real project photographs, rights and physical-completion declarations, relevant AI disclosure and staff review.

This exception applies only to invited qualifying older patterns during the founding intake. New submissions after that period must use the standard Craft Proof evidence process.

How do I know whether a listing is official?

Use the listing’s link on Loop Darling Marketplace or scan its printed Craft Proof card. Check that the destination is on loopdarling.com, and read the specific review label shown.

A printed or copied QR by itself isn’t proof of authenticity. If a link looks suspicious, navigate to the Marketplace directly instead of entering account or payment information from an unexpected QR page.

Can I report a suspicious listing?

Yes. Email support@loopdarling.com with the listing link and what concerns you. We’ll review information within our control, but we cannot promise to remove content from other platforms.
