Where are my projects and PDFs saved?
Your Android projects and imported pattern files are stored on your device. Having a website account does not mean those files are automatically backed up online.
Android project data
Rows, stitch counts, timers, notes, saved reading positions and imported PDFs in the Android beta use local device storage. You can resume work on that device, but the data is not automatically copied to your website account.
Signing in to the website does not transfer or back up the projects and PDFs saved on your phone.
Will an app update erase my projects?
A normal update using the same app identity is intended to keep local data, but beta builds can fail. Do not uninstall the app or clear its storage to fix a display, login or download problem. Those actions may erase the only copy of your work.
Before reinstalling or clearing app storage, ask support whether your installed beta has an export or recovery option. Deleted local data may not be recoverable.
Does Community see my project progress?
No. Yarn Circles do not automatically upload local projects, notes, counters or PDFs. You choose what to share in a manually entered progress update.
Your public Member page also does not publish private imported patterns or project notes.
Can I open the same project on iPhone?
No. Projects saved on your Android phone do not automatically appear on an iPhone or another device.
